Description
With their greater weight and often higher speeds, e-bikes place different demands on brake pads than traditional bikes. Therefore, Kool-Stop has developed a brake pad specifically designed for e-bike use. A ceramic layer is located between the organic pad compound and the steel backing plate. This layer prevents heat from being transferred to the caliper, effectively counteracting brake overheating and fading.
